2017 Senior Chinese Healthcare Leaders Training Programme on Mental Health
2017 Senior Chinese Healthcare Leaders Training Programme on Mental Health was successfully held at Manchester University this month. UK-Medu is honoured to co-organised this training programme with the School of Health Sciences. Around 20 hospital heads and senior leaders from 15 provinces in China attended this programme.
The School of Health Sciences invited speakers from different departments and organisations to give talks on the mental healthcare service and academic research in the UK, including advanced information technology application and the interventions in local community centres. The delegates also visited local research institutions and medical centers. Representatives from Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust impressed the delegates with their management notions and treatment approaches. The delegates commented that this training programme will help them to improve their service and management in China.
UK-Medu has engaged in building the exchange and cooperation platform for Chinese hospitals and the medical organisations in the UK, to provide help and support to hospitals in professional development training, to improve their administrative ability and service quality.
