A warm donation of supplies to Salford Royal Hospital from the participants of the exchange programme hosted by UK-Medu.
A special donation of 2000 surgical masks and 600 N95 masks was made to Salford Royal Hospital on 11 th August 2020 to help the healthcare workers amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The donation was made by the participants of the exchange programme held by UK-Medu in the past. They come from different hospitals in China but volunteered to unite and help out Salford Royal Hospital which had benefited their practice through the placement. Dr Khurshid Ahktar, consultant Upper Gastro-Intestinal (GI) and bariatric surgeon of Salford Royal Hospital express his utmost gratitude and yearned the memorable times during the exchange.
